Vegware built its range around one principle: every item should be able to go into the same commercial composting waste stream as the food on it. That only works if the whole list is consistent, which is why the range covers cups, lids, containers, bags and trays rather than a few headline products.

The practical benefit is a single waste stream. Food waste and packaging go in the same bin, which removes the sorting step that defeats most well-meaning recycling policies behind a busy counter.

It is worth confirming what your waste contractor collects before switching a site. Compostable packaging needs commercial composting to break down as intended, and in ordinary general waste it behaves like anything else.
