Recipe:
560gr of flour per 1L of water
1kg of finished dough, can make around 45 straight churros, size 12-14 cm long.
Of course, if a bigger nozzle is used then it will be less.
The ingredients are on the bag of the flour and is only wheats flour, no other ingredients.
Instructions:
- 1 L. boiling water
- 520 - 570 gr. Special flour for churros
- 15 gr. salt.
- Heat the water with salt.
- When the water is boiling, mix all the ingredients (1 minute in the automatic mixer).
- The dough must be firm and solid (not sticky).
- Fry the dough with vegetable oil (sunflower oil), at 190oC – 210oC. Spin the oil while frying.
- When churros are golden (2 minutes aprox.) put them in a drying tray and add sugar to your taste.
