Designed to perform well in both chilled and ambient environments, this icing provides consistent coverage and flavour in every application.

Method of Use

Preparation:

  • Bring the icing to room temperature before use. Stir gently to ensure a smooth consistency.

Application:

  • Spreading: Use a spatula to apply evenly over cakes, muffins, and pastries.

  • Dipping: Submerge doughnuts or baked goods briefly for a uniform, glossy coating.

  • Piping: Apply directly into or onto items for filled layers or decorative finishes.

Setting:

  • Allow the icing to set at room temperature. Refrigeration is not required after application.

Optional Heating Instructions:

  • Place the required amount of 5th Avenue® Chocolate Icing into a bain-marie or another suitable container.

  • Warm to approximately 40–50 °C, stirring regularly.

  • Alternatively, microwave in short intervals, stirring well at least once.

  • Do not overheat, as this will reduce the icing’s gloss.

  • For a thicker application, heat only to 30–35 °C.
