Preparation:
Ensure the icing is at room temperature for best spreadability. If needed, stir gently before use.
Application:
For spreading: Use a palette knife or spatula to evenly apply over cakes, muffins, or pastries.
For dipping: Submerge doughnuts or baked items briefly to coat.
For filling: Pipe directly into pastries or between cake layers.
Setting: Allow the icing to set at ambient temperature. No refrigeration required.
Optional Heating Instructions:
Place the required amount of 5th Avenue® Dark Chocolate Icing into a bain-marie or other suitable container.
Warm to approximately 40–50°C, stirring regularly.
Alternatively, microwave in short bursts, stirring well at least once.
Do not overheat, as this will reduce gloss.
For a thicker icing consistency, heat only to 30–35°C.
